Ever since he retired, I've been hearing and reading that he's a hall-of-famer.

Please tell me I'm not the only person who thinks Jeff Kent would be one of the most undeserving people to be enshrined in Cooperstown.

I don't care that he has more home runs than any other second baseman...yes, he won an MVP in 2000, but he was only an All Star 5 times...hardly an overwhelming resume.

He belongs in the mustache hall of fame, but that's about it.

I don't think he'll be in on the first ballot but he's definitely a hall of famer.

From everything I have read and heard he is a complete douchebag, but there is no doubt he has HOF numbers. But being a DB does not keep one out of the HOF. I would agree with Keyser, not a first timer, but he will definitely make it.

You keep hearing that Jeff Kent is a future HOFer because it's true.

Playing EA MVP 2005 prepared me for this: every time 2009 rolls around, dude would retire. It's a weird coincidence.
