However, Maddon's Rays got the last laugh in their 7-5 win over the Indians at Tropicana Field. It turns out Andy Sonnanstine could hit, and had an RBI double in place of Evan Longoria.

The Rays listed two third basemen on their lineup card on Sunday, causing them to lose their designated hitter. The plan was for Evan Longoria to DH and bat third on Sunday, but he was listed at third, along with Ben Zobrist. Since he didn't take a position in the top of the first, the Rays have now had to go to starting pitcher Andy Sonnanstine as their No. 3 hitter. Sonnanstine went 1-3 and Rays won 7-5 |

Ha,good story! I seem to remember something with either Uncle Lou or Dusty Baker screwing up the lineup card a few years back but forgot the story. |
