The Pirates strike again. They received 3 decent prospects but when the hell is Pittsburgh going to hang on to one of their better players and show the fan base (if they still have a fan base) that they give a shit about winning.

This is a nice move by Atlanta. Not sure if it's enough to catch the Mets or Phillies this year but MClouth is signed till '11 with an option for '12.

I agree with Keyser Soze here, could build something with Mclouth, now you trade him for prospects, that may not play until 2 years.

If I lived in Pittsburgh, my thought would be, let's hope the Penguins win the cup, and then I'm on to Steelers season, of course some people may be there already.

Right now, this transaction flies under the radar, but Nate could've brought a little clarity to the gaping hole that is the White Sox center field situation...He'll certain cover a lot more ground at Turner Field for the Braves.
