Post subject:  Typos can be so cruel

He's been hurt ALOT and the Cubs are no strangers to injured players, but when he's healthy... Wow. This typo on Rotoworld tonight made me sigh wistfully. It was more obvious with the image included, but you're sharp, you'll find it.

Chris Carpenter-S-Cubs Jun. 4 - 10:44 pm et

Chris Carpenter allowed just three hits and one run in a complete game victory over the Reds on Thursday night.

Carpenter faced the minimum over the first seven innings, erasing a pair of Chris Dickerson singles with double plays. He was just about flawless outside of a Laynce Nix solo homer in the eighth, and was also extremely efficient as he needed only 95 pitches to get through nine frames. With a 4-0 record and 0.71 ERA, Carpenter has been absolutely spectacular

That's how Laynce Nix spells his first name. It's Jayson Nix' brother.

Good for Laynce Nix, but Carpenter threw a complete game shutout for the Cardinals not the Cubs
