I always like watching it no matter what the critics say. It's the best all star game. It was good before it meant something too.

I can't remember the last time the Sox didn't have an offensive guy in the game. Maybe not since the 1980s. I'd always look forward to that Sox guy getting an at bat.

Buehrle got a really nice ovation during introductions. Do you think GD shed a tear?

Obama wore his Sox jacket!!! Woo hoo!!!!. He looked sharp.

Screw FOX. We didn't get the camera angle to see if he threw a strike.

I just like that the players can wear their own home and away uniforms, rather than those shitty allstar uniforms...

That's always been the case. They just wear the all star jerseys when they warm up and just recently for home run derby.

I just saw a teaser on ESPN.com that had a Buehrle/Cards trade rumor...of course, for insiders only...

Can I be the designated Dem to accuse Fox of purposely screwing up the camera angle on the first pitch :-) ?

I HATE watching baseball on FOX. These fast camera changes piss me off.

Lots of White Sox talk from Obama. Buehrle even gets a mention by the President.

Obama says he can't stay for the next half inning. Buck gets denied!!! That was embarrasing for FOX. I don't know why he couldn't stay. What the hell does he have to do?

Any notion if he's tweaking Fox, or does he really have to go? I'd love to think the former. 3-2 NL after 2. So much for the initial pitcher's duel.

Maybe the secret service guys were nervous that somebody in the crowd was setting up a shot. Prez was a target at that point. In plain view of a lot of people in the stands. They don't check for guns at a baseball games.

Well, if the AL gets a lead this half inning Buehre will be on the hook for the win.

Nice job by Buehrle. Not an easy task having to face Utley, Roid-Face and Braun.

When I was a little kid my dad would load me up with beers when we went to a Bears game. He'd get 12 to 14 on me for him and his buddies. They never checked kids. I was in a thick winter coat so it was easy.
