Reynolds was a late scratch on Sunday due to flu-like symptoms, the Arizona Republic reports.

Recommendation: “He’s pretty sick,” manager A.J. Hinch said. “He’s been playing the last two days with over a 100-degree fever. Last night, seeing him in the shape that he’s in, there was no way he could play today. He’s not any better today. We’re having a doctor come see him.” With an off-day scheduled for Monday, Reynolds may be able to get back on the field for Tuesday's series opener with the Giants.

Tulowitzki was held out of the opener of a key four-game series against the Giants on Friday night because of the stomach flu.

Advice: Rockies manager Jim Tracy said he believes it's just a 24-hour bug but said the team would monitor Tulowitzki over the weekend to make sure he's hydrated in the high altitude so that he doesn't risk an injury when he gets back. The Rockies, who began the night with a two-game lead over the Giants in the NL wild-card race, play 17 of their next 20 games at home.
