I think the Phillies get it done and repeat as World Champions in 5. Cliff Lee stymies the Yankee hitters in what should be a pitching clinic vs. C.C. Sabathia in the Bronx, weather permitting in Game 1 this eve.

I wouldn't say 2 runs is more than enough support against this Yankee offense even with Lee pitching like he is. One man on and a badly located pitch and we have a tie ballgame, I hope the Phils can pull this one out thou.

If the ump gives Marte that pitch, he'll K every hitter. Fox Track strike zone graphic showed every pitch was a ball outside in Utley's at-bat.

Lee's pitching a great game, but there's no need to send him back out in the 9th now. All these pitching changes and Philly rallies are making Lee sit too long between innings. Bring in the BP to close it out, save Lee for a possible Game 4 start.

That should have been an error on A-Pud. That homo needs to keep that ball on the infield.

I agree, I have to believe they are going to go and change that. All he to do was knock it down, Stairs was running he had all day.
