I have secured tickets to the Friday, August 27, 2010 White Sox game against the Glorious Twenty-Seven Time World Champion New York Yankees. I think it is Section 1-- something or other.

Although I do not drink alcohol, I would be pleased to buy any one of you several beers if you happen to be attending this game. I will be attending with my six (6) year old son, so I would appreciate it if no profanity is used in his presence. What is the price of beers? I have tentatively budgeted $50.00 for Chicago Sports Fan Message Board beers, although I can unilaterally increase this amount if needed. Let me know if you will be attending. I WISH TO MEET ALL OF YOU, EVEN PEOPLE LIKE BAGELS WHO HATE ME!

Also, if my son wears his Glorious ballcap and Derek Sanderson Jeter shirt, will he be beaten? As I am not worthy of wearing the Glorious logo, I will likely be wearing khaki pants, and a nice polo shirt.

$50 should be enough for about 6 beers. Might be able to stretch it to 7 or 8 if you don't throw a buck tip in for each.

Nah, Sox fans are cool. They might rib him a bit but it's all in fun. Just don't wear any Obama gear. Oh, and try not to be black.

Roses - I'd love to meet you there! I'm gonna need to know your real (glorious) board ID ahead of time though, that way I know who I'm looking for.

That just goes to show how long it has been since I have purchased a beer at a ballgame.

By Executive Order, the budget has been increased to $100.00! I WELCOME ALL! Even Darkside, who has decided to become my bitter enemy for some unknown reason.

On your counsel, I will refrain from wearing Obama gear, and being balck..

Your legendary greatness is Rizzuto-like in its grandeur and glory! You are Superman to Lipidquadcab's bizarro world Superman!

I will enjoy meeting you as well - unless your true intent is to try to beat me up. I warn you, I am 6'2" and weigh 235 pounds! If you are going, I will let you know my seat number as we get closer to the game.

On an unrelated note, how is it possible that two longstanding clubs like this only visit each other's park one time in an entire 162 game season? IT WILL BE AS SPECIAL AS WAS CHRISTMAS WHEN I WAS A MERE CHILD!

This exciting event is a mere three (3) weeks away! I have yet to receive any respondez s'il vous plaits to my offer of FREE BEER! What do I have to do - buy you the free beer and pay you some money on top of it? I feel like Crazy Eddie selling a v.c.r. - my offer is I-N-S-A-A-A-A-A-N-E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is a fun game: watch this Crazy Eddie video and pretend it is me trying to give away beer. Or pretend it is someone else trying to convince you to do something C-R-A-A-Z-Y, like a married woman trying to have an affair with you.

I will be in Section 136, Row 16 or 18. My son will be wearing a Glorious Twenty Seven (27) Time World Champion New York Yankees baseball cap. Hey, I just thought of a great trivia question to stump your friends: what team is twenty seven games over the .500 mark and has won the World Series the exact same number of times?

While this sounds like great fun, I do not care to be arrested in front of my beloved son. Not to mention that a conviction for such tomfoolery might place my professional licensure in grave danger. I hope, however, that you can still make these marvelous festivities.

A learned panel of experts has apparently determined that the non-married individual is free of fault in an adulterous affair. For you, therefore, there would be free malts and hops. For your illicit love, however, I will offer only a stern lecture on the Book of Exodus.

Quite naturally yes. I sympathize with, and do not discriminate against, the mentally ill. I will, however, require a note from your medical professional assuring me that beer will not neutralize the effects of your anti-psychotic medication.

According to ESPN.com, based in Bristol, Connecticut (a/k/a "The Constitution and Nutmeg State"), my enemy A.J. Burnett is scheduled to start on Friday, August 27, 2010. Why is he my enemy, you may ask? Because he is a horrible pitcher, who causes me considerable angst on a regularly scheduled basis. He is a little like those clever threads that change a few letters of another thread's title - like there will be a thread called "Big Fan," and someone will start a thread called "Pig Man," which is a story for another day about a completely different enemy.

What does A.J. Burnett starting mean to you and me? If history is my guide, it means that the game will be out of reach by the third (3rd) inning. This will allow me more time for socializing, and you will be in a much better mood to consume FREE BEER!

I WELCOME ALL - EVEN MY ENEMIES!

A proposal to you Mr. Stonerosies,

After the Yankees bat in the top of the third (3rd) inning, I shall meet you on the concourse directly behind section one-hundred and thirty six (136) where we can have a beer. If the Yankees have scored in the top half of that inning, you buy a round. If the White Sox score in the bottom half if the inning, I will buy the round.

Do we have a deal good sir?

Absolutely, I look forward to meeting you. I will, however, have a diet cola, as I do not drink alcohol.

If you buy the round, can my son have a Sprite?

With my enemy A.J. Burnett pitching, we should complete 2.5 innings by 9:10, and the score will be 8 to 1 for the White Sox. I will see you then.

I am barely looking forward to this game, I am so angry that this piece of garbage remains in the rotation.

After the game, my son and I will be burning Brian Cashman in effigy for failing MISERABLY on the Cliff Lee deal. This is my only recourse, as he has not been fired. HOW DO YOU LOSE OUT ON A DEAL LIKE THIS?!?!?! TO THE FAR-FROM-GLORIOUS TEXAS RANGERS!?!?!? THE TEXAS RANGERS!

A.J. Burnett's Line (as predicted by me)
3.1 Inning Pitched
8 Hits
7 Runs
7 Earned Runs
