Take a look at that advertisement. They are pretending that the "Hit King's" 44 game hitting streak never happened. Also, it doesn't use the name of the legendary player who had the 56 game streak. What is up with that, yo? |

What legendary Hall of Famer loaned Joseph Paul DiMaggio $18.00 on the night the 56 game streak was ended, because Joseph Paul DiMaggio left his wallet in the locker room? Hint: He was from Brooklyn and won seven (7) World Series. |

$18.00 (eighteen) on the night his 56 (fifty-six) game streak ended huh? Hmmm, its gotta be Fergie Jenkins. Douchebag, Ms. Monroe was quite fond of the Crown. |

This apparently is such a huge brain-stumper that another hint seems to be required: Further Hint: He probably killed many of our enemies in World War II. |
