Can I ask why baseball doesn't have their Hall of Fame introductions on ESPN or another channel that people get. It is on the MLB Network and I heard on the Danny Mac show that some people don't get the channel, sounds like it's on Directv or Comcast. You are coming off an all-star game that didn't too well in the ratings, you would think you would try to at least show the HOF to as many people as you can to get more of the young people into baseball, but just being on the MLB Network doesn't do that. I know the NFL is bigger, but at least they have there HOF on 2 channels, one most people get and one some people get. I don't know if baseball is still the number 2 sport in the country, but I think when you do things like this, you start to lose more people than gain. I mean parents can tell their kids about Andre Dawson when he goes in this weekend and watch his speech, but if you don't have MLB network, you can't. On ESPN, they have the Brickyard race, ESPN2 has the senior British Open and then nothing, but I think ESPN Classic had it one year and I think they had it when RYNO went in, this year they just have Poker on. In my opinoin, a bad move by MLB. |

Watch Selig after this season try to legalize Aluminum Bats to get people talking MLB again. HR's are down, steroid use is being monitored, something must be done. |

They were using amphetamines long before that to get up for games. Why would taking different drugs be out of the question? You are talking about a significant change in gameplay. I would bet on College losing the aluminum bats before MLB would even consider it... |

I just wonder, baseball cleans the game up and less scoring and now people don't watch the game. |

If Bud wants to get people talking about baseball, does he let Cuban buy the Rangers, I think that would be a good thing for the Rangers. Cuban may come in and say stuff that will ruffle some feathers, but people will talk about it and he would help the Rangers being a title contending team. |

Not for nothing, but it's "induction". And, for chrissakes, there will never be aluminum bats in our lifetimes James ... if all else were to fail, the MLBPA would refuse the change. |
