That Upton strikeout was a something. I think the magic is Larry DeWayne Wise.

16 k's. Nice. Travis wood silently has a no hitter going and may through the least amount of pitches in a 9 inning game ever.

Both Buehrle and Braden's perfect games were against the Rays.

Blue Jays need the runs, but this long inning with a pitching change and all these base runners is not a good thing for the no-hit attempt.

Better start warming up their closer.

Freaking MLB Network didn't show the final out.

Morrow stayed in the game and got his 17th strike out of the game to preserve the 1 run win and sweep of the Rays.

Switched over to the MLB.TV feed and they were interviewing Morrow on the Jays network and in the middle of the interview his teammates hit him with a full bucket of ice and gatorade, which took him by surprise and seemed to piss him off a bit. Then another guy ran across from the other direction and hit Morrow with a shaving cream pie in the face. And then after he was just about cleaned up and ready to continue the interview, they hit him a 3rd time.

Morrow waved to the crowd and ducked into the dugout after that.

I still can't believe Jack Z gave up on Morrow so soon. He's only 26 years old and was the 5th pick in the '06 draft. Seattle gave him the Samardjiza treatment by moving him from starter to reliever to starter to reliever. Toronto was smart enough to trade for him this off season and told him he's a starter. He's rewarded them with a 9-6 record 4.45 ERA and 151 K's in 127.1 innings while playing in the toughest division in baseball. Hard to believe all the #5 pick needed was a chance to show what he can do.
