Yeah-I read about this earlier today and thought it was pretty cool. No matter his age, he was able to locate his pitches and had good movement on them. Those are huge factors. Look at Moyer still pitching effectively and it's not much different. The fastball is a contradiction in terms, but he can still pitch. It's the independent league, not the major leagues, but he's 63, so it's still awfully impressive. Cool story....I wonder if there is time left in their season to get another start in? I would guess that he would help them draw more fans than usual now that this story is out, should he get another start. Has to be a bit humbling to the 20-something year old kids that couldn't get hits off a 63 year old.
