Im all for it

Rooting for him all the way. Glad he's on the Yankees.

This would be a good story. He doesnt need the money, obviously and people often accused him of "not wanting to take the mound"

We'll here's this superstar swallowing his pride and working his ass off to try and get a shot as a middle reliever.

I like that.

and anyone who has a problem with the just ducky incident needs to rethink that.

Harry was probably drunk stoned and a danger to the kids.

Prior was doing what he needed to do to get that Drunken strungout lesbian away from the kids.

yeah, well he's certainly not dotting the outside corner with a 94 mph 2 seamer and following it up with a fall of the table curve anymore.

He's gonna have to be a different pitcher.

He's throwing low 90's and the curve is still good.

Id give him a 50/50 shot at success. A middle reliever can get by with 2 pitches. If he can locate the curve he can be effective.

Did he make the team? I wasn't sure he was gonna be on the big roster.
nah man, I'd root for him right up until "our guys" play "their guys".

Found this from on the YES network website

Ellis asks: What’s up with Mark Prior? His stats look great this spring – is he in the running for a bullpen spot?

Nah, he apparently signed his contract knowing that he needs to go to Triple-A and prove himself. Prior has looked great in camp, but it’s only been a handful of innings against (mostly) minor league competition late in games. He has to show a little more against Triple-A caliber hitters (there’s a lot of Single- and Double-A players late in Spring Training games) and prove he can pitch on back-to-back days. Prior has looked way better than I expected and he’s definitely put himself in consideration for a call-up at some point, but he’s still got some more things to work on before that happens.

I caught a little bit of a recent Yankees game on ESPN and was flabbergasted to see good ol towelcannon out there doing his thing. I loved it when the announcers reminded the world of the Calfzilla nickname when they pointed out that he lets his pant-legs go down to his ankles these days.

COULD CALFZILLA HAVE BEEN ON SOMETHING?!@?! * twilight zone theme *

I remember once I was at my Grandparents' house and they got some Christian newspaper and there was a big article about Mark Prior talking about his faith in god and how being a christian has helped him succeed. It was right then and there that I noticed the difference between Mark Prior and Carlos Zambrano; while Prior talks ABOUT god, Zambrano talks TO god.... more specifically "FUCK YOU THAT WAS STRIKE YOU KNOW THIS UMPIRE IS SHIT ARRRRRGHHHHH"

I am completley rooting against Prior's comeback and I hope that he blows his arm out completely. Soft mentally and physically and I think he just comes across as a complete asshole who got some real bad advice from his family. But whatever I don't ever need to see him pitch in the MLB again.

Upper body is much much thinner. Once again I never thought he roided, only because I thought he was such a pussy, as he would never go under the knife for 5 years after he tore something/everything. My belief had zero to do with thinking he was an ethical guy etc.

That pic alone makes me think he was using, but need to see the lower half (HEY NOW!) as the calves were abnormally large and could have been the source of his power. Special calf roids!

The guy throw effortless 97 MPH sliders on a regular basis and still broke down all the time. At least when Wood was busting off his sliders, everyone said he wont last with the whip motion, Prior was suppossed to be smooth and no harm!

I hope every players in every sport explodes, I know every one of them has irritated at least one person in their careers and for that they deserve the most painful injuries possible.
