If the Yankees are the Evil Empire the Red Sox are the Annoying Kingdom. I'm happy to see them at 0-6 and I'd love to listen to a little Boston sports radio today with the Celtics fading and the Red Sox with their worst start since the 40s. Oh, and I am really glad to see that Baltimore may finally be back. |

Yeah, I'm enjoying the current Boston suckfest...I cringe with the knowledge that they will probably wind up turning it around, which will cause the annoying masses to come back in greater numbers. |

Showalter is gonna be good for that team. The O's are gonna hit, as they went out and got some solid hitters that should produce in that hitter's park, but that pitching is gonna be pretty brutal. I luv that the Red Sox are struggling. I love that the Rays are off to a poor start too. The difference is that I think Boston will rebound and be ok. The Rays so far just look awful. 0-6, but they haven't even had a fucking lead yet! |

They were the closest team to the Cubs drought and them fuckin bastards did it the year after the most epic collapse I've seen from the Cubs (until 07 and 08 which while quite eipc weren't quite as painful) sp fuck them drawl talkin moondicks. |

And I remember tons of Cubs fans in 2004 rooting for the Red Sox. Then figured if they could end their drought, the Cubs would end theirs. It was even for the 2005 season that these bracelets came out: Not that I have a problem with the bracelets themselves, but the theme: "BELIEVE" Maybe you didn't root for the Carmines in '04 Darko, but a lot of your Cub fan bretherin sure did. |

I don't like Tessie, I hate their accents. Fuck em. Feel the pain, Boston. Feel it. Jerks. |

That lineup is the best in baseball IMO. |

If you were to have placed $100 bets against the Red Sox since opening day you'd be up almost $800 at this point... |

There were considered the PROHIBITIVE favorites to not only win the A.L. East, but to win the WORLD SERIES for that matter with the additions of LF Carl Crawford and 1B Adrian Gonzalez for the everyday lineup and ex-White Sox closer Bob Jenks to set up closer Jonathan Papelbon. Now, the big, bad Yankees visit Fenway Park for the weekend, followed by the just as awful Rays early next week...Have fun with that, Red Sox! |
