1st Bud takes back the Dodgers and it is only a matter of time that the Mets are next!

And if you want to buy the A's or Ray's we can show you them too!

Bud reaching out to the next generation owners now to buy one of these teams Mets or Dodgers! Thus continuing the new version of the old boys club.

MLB will provide loans to buy the team if they can come up with 20% as the principals

Know anyone that has $100 mill laying around?

I believe this could make the Pujols sweepstakes interesting. I predicted in February the Dodgers and Mets would have new owners, looking to make a splash. Hopefully MLB doesn't approve a guy who owns a parking lot with his wife to buy the Dodgers.

The issue was that before the Mets and Dodgers crap, they (MLB) is actually working with some younger ownership groups to buy the A's or Ray's and Yes, Vegas was on the Radar map.

There's a rumor going around that Mark Cuban has money.

Then there is the fact Jerry Reinsdorf will not let him own a baseball team.

Oh I know. I was kidding about Cuban, as I might have a better chance. This guy Big Fan that runs the message board might be able to put it together.

It'll be over "Commissioner" Allan H. Selig's dead body before Mark Cuban owns any baseball team... Seriously, Cuban may have offered a lot of $$$$ to buy the Cubs before Selig approved the sale of the team to the Ricketts family a couple years ago, but I can't see Reinsdorf or any of the other owners in Major League Baseball approving Cuban as a possible new owner of the Dodgers, Mets or any other franchise.

I think the Dodgers' situation is far from over. Frank McCourt claims that his team is in compliance with MLB's financial guidelines, and is planning to file suit vs. MLB trying to get control of that team. I also think Selig's not pleased that McCourt supposedly went around the Commissioner's Office when he made that reported $30 million loan from FOX to meet payroll, according to last Sunday's Los Angeles Times. Ultimately, this Hollywood-style divorce between Frank & Jamie McCourt will ultimately result in the Dodger franchise being put up for sale and the McCourts will be history as MLB owners.

Guess who was the only NBA owner to vote against Cuban buying Dallas? Yes Jerry

While he does not want Cuban in MLB, to have him in Chicago was Jerry's worst nightmare.

This is something I really don't agree on with King Jerry. That all owners should be fiscally responsible and be like him.

The most outlandish, loud mouthed, fiscally irresponsible guy was great for baseball and was Jerry's friend, George Steinbrenner.

Maybe the Russian who owns the Nets will buy the Dodgers and move them back to Brooklyn.

Mikhail Prokhorov is the Russian billionaire who owns the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, and I remember the CBS News magazine "60 Minutes" did a profile of him last year...Party on, based on what I saw.
