The Derby was pretty interesting from what I saw of it. Cano hit some bombs out to right-center...lordy. So, the game...

Tough to expect a high scoring affair with all of the good pitchers in the game, but I say the AL gets some offense late and ends up winning tonite 5-3

During the pregame show, FOX is supposed to show a sneak preview of the much-anticipated talent competition "The X Factor". As I wrote on my Twitter account late last night, why do I get this feeling that Simon Cowell's first series since he left "American Idol" will be quite a letdown once it officially premieres this fall?

I know I'm going to watch it. What the hell else do I have to do?!?

I guess the AL wins 6-2, and Adrian Gonzalez is the MVP.

Not that it matters, the White Sox & Cubs have 3 All-Stars between them, excluding Cub manager Mike Quade as a coach on the NL staff. You've got Tim McCarver's new buddy Starlin Castro on the Cubs, while Paul Konerko & Carlos Quentin are the White Sox coming off the AL bench. How will they do?

A player will be injured during the game and be out for the season. Quade will be responsible for this injury.

The thing that would make this game entertaining is if the let Dick Stockton call it. I'd rather listen to him fuck up names all night than that flaming fuckstick Joe Buck.

All star games for me.

1. Rooting for Sox players to do something big. Hopefully a grand slam with the AL down 3 late in the game.

2. Making fun of the stupid stuff that Buck and McCarver say.

Well, I know I am.

NL 7-4 Castro gets game winning hit; RBI double.

They're only a game out of 1st place. You shouldn't be shocked.

Did dumbass Buck screw up somebody's name or something earlier? I was cleaning the cat's shitbox, which when listening to Joe Buck is rather apropos.

Announced Felix Hernandez from Seattle while the camera was focused on Miguel Cabrera (and alphabetically, they hadn't hit the S yet)

I guess I haven't listened to enough Buck to form such hatred towards the man. I like him on the NFL. Why is he despised?

I loath Buck and all he stands for. Tim McCarver fucking blows.
