Actually SHARK, I dunno about that. I think even without Verlander the Tigers win 84 games which still wins the AL Central.

What Justin Verlander has done is something very, very rare for a starting pitcher. It's not often to see a pitcher like Verlander dominate opposing hitters like he's done. Where would the Tigers be without him? They wouldn't be playoff-bound, that's for damn sure. |
