Hoffy, He managed against steroid users too. He's managed before and after the steroid era and has been successful all the while.

I dont feel strongly on it but I would go with the whole fat guy who hits well turning into muscle machine that destroys baseballs in the minors.


However, i find it odd that a person could say

I dont buy that the best hitter of the steroid era is clean

and on the other hand they say Frank is clean


Wasnt Frank also one of the best of the steroid era?

I get what you are saying, but this season Pujols came back in like 10 or 12 days from a broken wrist. That just doesn't happen without some sort of aid.

When Frank Thomas broke bones in his leg in 2004, he missed 2004 and 85% of 2005 because of it.

I don't think you can compare breaking a leg and a wrist. And from what I've heard testing is pretty good these days. There doesn't seem to be any type of evidence against Pujols. There would've been by now if he was guilty.

Sosa sure took a long time coming back from that hand injury in his career. I think that shows unequivically that he was clean.

Many people have said the same thing about a lot of steroid users.

The testing is not good. They cant test for HGH.

And several guys have played 20 years without evidence of steroid use and found out to be juicing the whole time.

Im not sure about Albert. I hope he's done it clean.

This is what bernstein hates. Justin. Verlander. was. the . best. damn. pitcher. all. season. All season. A 34 game sample.

Duncan and LaRussa got their team into the playoffs and Carpenter is now the best pitcher for six games and maybe a relief appearance.

It's amusing how Confused danny repeats his mantra that "winning championships is all that counts" and yet he's quick to declare teams that don't better than those that do.

Baseball is a funny game. That's part of what makes it great.

While true, Id still rather a system where most of the time the best teams win.

I do think the first round should be 7. 5 games is too fluke prone
