But he could face the White Sox 5 times, so that should keep his ERA down.

if tommy hanson can stay on the damn field i'd love to see what the braves rotation could do... this means julio teheran, randall delgado, and mike minor should fight for the shot at the rotation alongside hanson, beachy, hudson (i wonder how much longer he's there) and jair jurrjens.

my bet is that minor claims a spot (he was nice down the stretch) and they try to trade delgado while they sit on teheran as their next rotation guy if they move/retire/etc hudson.

brandon beachy was very quietly a revelation this year... love those K #s and he was crusing in the high 2s/low3s for ERA for a good chunk of the season. even tho mike minor has the pedigree (first round draft pick... i think he was top-10/15 at that) beachy simply showed up late in 10 and pitched his ass off. then when they put him out there this year, all he did was get hitters out while striking out a bunch of them. i remember a sat. afternoon national game on fox where he owned the eventual-world-champ cardinals, giving up 2ER when freddy left him in an inning too long, pulling him out of the inning after he put the two baserunners on.... otherwise it was like 7IP 0ER and like 9K. the kid is legit.
