Houston has been in the NL for over 4 decades. Why not move a team w/ less history like the Rockies? Can you imagine how'd it be there w/ a DH in that ballpark? |

I made a prediction that the Astros would have a wining season before the Cubs. I may have to rethink that if the Srtos get moved to the AL. |

According to Richard Justice of the Houston Chronicle, the Astros have received permission to interview Rays executive vice president Andrew Friedman. This would obviously be a HUGE get but it would take quite an offer to get him away from the Rays. I would think the Astros moving to the AL makes this a little more enticing for Freidman because he gets to stay in the same league but far away from the powerhouses in the AL east. I would also think the Asrto fans wouldn't be quite so angry about the move if it meant bringing Freidman home to run the franchise. |
