He was recently DFA'd by the Red Sox when they got some of their injured players back, I do believe. I've also heard Marlon Byrd's name linked to former BALCO founder Victor Conti. Do the names Barry Bonds & Marion Jones ring a bell? |

Even before today's news of a 50 game suspension by MLB, Marlon Byrd is currently NOT on any roster since he was DFA'd by the Red Sox. |
