I'm giddy as all get out to watch this Kid pitch tonight. He was the 3rd pick in last years draft and a very interestng case study because of his work out and throwing regimen. He doesn't lift weights and doesn't ice his arm. He has an insane stretching program, swears by long tossing and throws up to 100 pitches just to warm up. He also says he LOVES striking hitters out and tries to strike out everyone he faces. This Kid's gonna be fun to watch for a long time. |

They only let him go 4 innings and 74 pitches. What are you protecting him from?? The Kid's a pitching machine. He threw 100 damn pitches before the game even started. Oh well. Hopefully they'll take the bubble wrap off in his next few starts and he can show what he can really do. |
