Are you actually telling me that Reggie Jackson speaks his mind? He has opinions? I'm as shocked as the Yankees organization. |

Big Chicagoan wrote: For bashing their players. Reggie just questioned A-Rod and his accomplishments, which is different from his 2007 comments backing him. I don't recall any other Yankee comments. Reggie also questioned whether certain recent electees were worthy of being HOFers. I don't necessarily agree with him, but his comments weren't the rumblings of a kook. Just stated some opinions. |

Pretty interesting read in SI this week. Reggie has found the Lord. I like and agree with a lot of his baseball opinions. My earliest World Series memories are of Reggie v Dodgers. |

One of these players was a true Glorious Yankee. The other was not. |

For any White Sox fans unhappy with the Adam Dunn signing, take a look at the Reggie Jackson Angels years and see how many years California put up with him struggling to hit .220 while striking out every 3rd at bat. |

Bad look from Mr October. He wasn't wrong, but you can't publicly badmouth another employee of the Yankees when they are paying you $700K and your only job description is basically to not talk shit about them or present them poorly to the public. |

Here is a quiz question to stump your friends. On July 13, 1927, three (3) teammates with at least two thousand five hundred (2,500) career hits started a game in the same lineup. These players were Ty Cobb, Eddie Collins, and Zack Wheat for the Philadelphia Athletics. This feat was never accomplished again until very recently. Name the players and their team. There is no prize except pride. |
