yup. youre right. because every other sport rewards their good teams for being good. theres so many fuckin games in baseball that by the end of a season you have a landscape that is COMPLETELY different then the one you started with. might sound like fun, but really baseball seasons are determined by a crapshoot. at any point where you think something matters, it doesnt.

contrast to the nfl, where there is ups and downs but they happen in MOMENTS. every single play matters, all season long. its so much more exciting they shouldnt even be in the same category. mlb should be considered fun family entertainment. nfl is considered real sport.

This year is a lil different from most..small payroll teams are in the mix and there is no dominant team in either league..Balt and Oakland have made things interesting...And baseball is a great game an I agree too many games...would like to see 112 games ..start on may 1st.

That season was great...every day it was "ok, you can just go ahead and start losing now...because you're bad, everyone knows you're bad, and you're going to end up with a bad record"...

This has been a fun year of baseball. The NL is all about the wildcard now, and I love each of their division winners, all likeable teams. The AL has a lot of close races, and there should be great playoff match-ups.

I think the one game Wildcard playoff is silly, and I am curious to see how that goes.
