I like the Braves the best. Reds, Nats and Giants would be the next level (depending on Lincecum)

Braves also have the best bullpen (slight nod over the Reds)

As currently constructed I wouldn't consider the Cards anywhere near the top, but if this comeback works out...

http://www.cbssports.com/general/blog/eye-on-baseball/20210950/chris-carpenter-to-start-friday-for-cards

Carpenter
Wainwright
Lohse

Sounds pretty good to me.

and BTW, Lynn is definitely NOT in the playoff rotation. Despite being an All Star, he has some issues such that he hasn't been regularly starting for a while now.

If that is Counsell, you could make a "blooper" GIF just by filming his batting stance

Yeah, there are 64 teams still in contention. I knew I was gonna miss one. I remember the guy in my league crying about Lynn too.

Carpenter helped me win 200$ on the playoffs last year, so the hate has softened

He's bald. And Grindy. And throws expletives and cutters with similar ease. :drunken:

Washington has the best 3 man imo, and Dumpster will not be pitching in the playoffs as a starter...they have cherry picked his starts to throw him at bottom feeders ..but when he faces the better teams in AL he gets crushed.

Angels (2), Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles, Angels, Twins, Cleveland (2), Royals

Those are mostly great offenses. Not cherry picking.

And if Texas makes it to the ALCS, they'll use 4 starters. I bet he gets a playoff start.

He's 6-2. Still a candidate for a double Cy Young.

If he was allowed to hit in the AL, he would also have a shot at the Triple Crown.

I can understand your frustration. It must be brutal to see him manage a team to a 31 game lead over the Cubs.

Not really.

The Dusty hate was kinda erased by Lou.

I always liked Dusty as a guy, just hated some of his moves

He was slapped around against Ny and Anaheim both times...Balt has a weak ass offense and the rest are no good and are not post season worthy....He is not a top 4 guy on that rotation especially against decent teams in a big game...if he gets a start I will be betting against him big.

But he is.

Unless you'd rather start Scott Feldman
