Giving any pitcher that kind of money is just silly. He can only have an effect on 1 out of every 5 games. Just dumb. |

A good pitcher, and even moreso a dominant one, is worth a lot. The money is fine. The years are bad though. I agree with Jerry Reinsdorf's thoughts on pitchers. |
