Twitter is afoot with news. Based on what Wainwright got yesterday, this is going to be north of 200m. Impossible situation for Detroit, but that might be very bad paper. Lots of miles on that arm already.

Sources: Justin Verlander can make $202m under terms of his new deal. He'll get $180m over next seven seasons, plus vesting option of $22m.
