Watching that replay, you see Gomez pointing to his knee as he rounded the bases. That's where Maholm hit him in June.

They should show the first swing he took. Gomez swung out of his shoes at a high fastball and just stared at Maholm the entire time. He was looking to show them up. I hope he looks for one between his eyes the next time they play because that's where he's going to get it and I hope Craig Kimbrel is the one delivering the pitch. Fuckin piece of shit.

I can't remember this ever happening before. When he was giving Fernandez a lesson the unwritten rules 2 weeks ago at least he let him cross the plate first. Is he going to head off the hitter between 2nd and 3rd next time?

Well, not sure what set off Carlos Gomez in the first place, But, he hit a dinger off of Pasta's guy Maholm and strolled around the bases yelling stuff. McCann stood in his way as he was coming down the 3B line. Benches cleared. The Brewer coaches grabbed Gomez and tried to drag him back to the plate so he could step on it, but he wouldn’t go. People are getting tossed. The Braves sure are sensitive about shit.

McCann must be turning into the Braves resident enforcer. He stepped in when Fernandez was going at it with Chris Johnson a few weeks ago. I didn't see it but I know Maholm and Gomez have a history. If the Braves have a problem with something then hit somebody cleanly. Too much chirping coming from them every time they get offended. The Braves also went at it with Bryce Harper this year as well. They seem like they might start a brawl if they found out the visiting team didn't arrive on the team flight wearing a sport jacket.

How about calling a better game so that the 2nd batter of the game doesn't park one, causing all of your teammates to get all sniffly? Also - Reed Johnson runs off the bench, takes a free shot at somebody's face and then gets to stay in the game? Yeesh, way to take control, umps.
