Home field advantage goes to the Red Sox and that has seemed to matter the last couple of years.

Red Sox are favored.

I think the Cardinals are playing better.

Hope it goes 7

Dont know how the Red Sox can be favored. St Louie is going to stomp them.

Doubt that.

I mean, I think the Cards will win, but there will be no stomping.

I hope Boston wins in 5 or 6 games.

I fear St Louis wins in 5.

Go Red Sox

Lester, Lackey, Peavy and Buchholz are not going to shut the Cardinals down. Bucholz has been meh, Peavy ,Lester, Lackey nibble too much and will get high pitch counts run up early . Lackey probably has been their best pitcher but I dont trust him at all. Red Sox lose Napoli or Ortiz in St Louis and thats going to hurt. Cardinals starters are either equal to or just notch below what Boston saw in Detroit and they hardly lit up the scoreboard against them. All in all theyll be lucky to get 1 game . Cards in 5

The Red Sox have a tendency to hit Grand Slams

Bears D has a tendency to create turnovers.

Suddenly Cardinal fans do not like the way the home field advantage is determined for the WS.

Poor things, I feel so bad for them.

I have heard 3 fans I am around a lot mention that it was a dumb way to do it.

I agree with them, but I am sure glad the AL won this year.

Its a terrible way to do it. Everybody who isn't Allan H. "Bud" Selig knows that.

Both the Cards and BoSox had 97 wins this season, so I dunno how they would have figured it out otherwise.

It's a stupid way to determine home field advantage, regardless of where the WS starts.

I would prefer the best record. Or in this case, since it's tied, make it the league with the best interleague record.

I just want the Cardinals to win, regardless of how many games it takes. Not making a prediction. I'm already dreading 4-hour games, and Fox's endless plugging of their TV shows. Hey look! It's the guy from Prison Break!

I'm looking forward to a well played series that results in little to no bloodshed.

His contrarian narrative. Sort of like posting a topic stating that Cutler is out for 6-8 weeks with no information other than his desire for interwebs notoriety.

Nas is fast approaching Pasta territory for being one of the worst actual sports posters that CSFMB has.

Back it up though. The Cardinals are not THAT MUCH better than the Red Sox

Cardinals faced the Pirates and a Dodgers team sans Kemp and with a hobbled Ramirez. Im not trying to take anything away from the Cards, but if the Red Sox won in 5, it wouldnt be THAT shocking

BTW, this quip is like 10 days late, but you think the Pirates were thinking about the 2012 draft where they took and failed to sign Mark Appel and Wacha went 10 picks later

Hindsight, I know, but still

Sox in 4 because the Cardinals and all of St.Louis can go fuck themselves.
