No it's not some USA network cop show or morning zoo radio team. What they will be after the vote today are Hall of Famers . My gut tells me Maddux breaks the record for highest percentage of votes though I'd like to hear the reason some of these dimwit writers will leave him off the ballot. Large Fank was Pujols before Pujols and should be a no doubter . Good luck to to them, am proud to be a fan of both .

Some asshole will say Maddux and the Braves got the outside corner.

Both guys should be 100%ers

Frank's resume was solidified when he won a title.

I think Glavine will be affected by that argument and may not get in on the first ballot, but I agree Maddux will not get 100%. I think he'll fall just short of Seaver's %.

I really have no idea how Frank is perceived by the writers. I can see him getting anywhere from 60-90%.

Les and Grote were debating Jeff Kent's worthiness this morning. Les was pretty adamanent no way Kent gets in but I do t know if he meant first ballot or ever.

Frank gets in easily.

If Kent belongs you better put Bonds in right away.

Yes, Frank was a huge part of that Sox run. Did Minnie Minnoso have a hand in it too?

frank will run up against 2 issues.

1. The time period he played in. Not his fault, but the fact remains he played with the roid boys and someone is going to ask the question of why they should believe Frank?

2. He was quite a dick during his playing days and when you are a dick to some who cover you it comes back to bite you.

Of course he should get in, but those 2 reasons are going to come up.

Maddux will be a great test of the system. Any old timer has to love the guy. He didnt throw hard, so he isnt in the roid categpory, total crafty guy, even the younger guys cant have an issue with him, but as said, someone will find something like when LaRussa had them check the ball a few times during one of his games.

I call Frank 80%. I think he should be 87%.

I'm this close to being done with the Hall of Fame. Part of me hopes they fuck up this ballot too so I don't ever have to think about it again.

Frank came back with that repaired ankle and put up some good numbers before going down again for good. He contributed, don't be silly, SillyFan.

I found an article on the top HOF vote getters of all time. It's ridiculous that a guy like Willie Mays only got 94.6%. Henderson did slightly better than him, and I think he should have been a 100% guy too.

Frank was superior even during that era. 2 time MVP will catch every voter's eyes. I still despise the roided up Giambi for stealing his 3rd MVP

Agree. Frank brought us yet another World Series title. We are eternally in his debt.

batted .200/ 10 HR? 100 AB? and its not like he did it in September, goign to say June , July played 25 games? Yeah, could go look it up, but pretty sure close enough
Oh yeah, that locks you into a HOF deal

Leading the White Sox to the World Series championship was a great way to end Big Frank's career.

Like I said, he came back from a major injury and contributed.

What locks him into a HoF spot is him being one of the greatest hitters in history.

So, whatev.

Indeed, so it's a good thing he came back in '05 and powered the White Sox to their historic World Series title.

Both guys should be in. Jeff Kent just doesn't feel like a Hall of Famer to me, numbers notwithstanding.

Jeff Kent's truck should definitely be in the hall of fame.
