For Stupidity: Jerry Meals in the 19th inning calling a runner safe who was tagged out four feet ahead of home plate. Just unbelievable -- I'm guessing he was tired or something? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnGomyAGYJQ For importance: Jim Joyce at 1B calling the 27th batter safe. This is a fan's video of it happening, and you can tell even from the third base side he was out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuRPMhqJTXw Any that can rival these? The 1996 ALCS home run comes to mind. |

I still say the Jerry Meals one is worse though... this one, at least I can see the "logic". |
