All the Reds got hurt, Pittsburgh started out real slow and the Brewers fell back to where they should've been all along?

By winning more games than anyone else in the NL Central.

Scoring more runs than your opponent is the key to winning games....winning 2-1 counts equally to winning 10-0.

Also the World Series home field advantage should be given to the league with the highest 9 man WAR #.

"Because they have a winning record against the other teams in their division" would be a good start.

45-31

Pirates and Brewers have losing records in the division...not a good way to win your division (though the Bucs might still pull it off).

I heard yesterday that the Cards are the toughest team in baseball to strike out. Guys that make constant contact is a good thing.

As a Brewers fan, I would have no clue about a stat like that.

They're actually not bad.

There are 5 and possibly 6 playoff teams that strikout a higher percentage of the time
