Thought about putting this in the DBOTW section (for Ron Gardenhire, who said he wouldn't use Hughes in relief this weekend despite Hughes needing just one more out for $500k), but was surprised to see Hughes set the record for K/BB ratio. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-bas ... rain-delay Maybe the Twins will pay the bonus anyway? |

Hughes gave up 16 walks in 209-2/3 IP for a .687 ratio per 9. The best Maddux ever did was .774. |
