Wasn't Miller a Cardinals prospect/pitcher?

Missed it after 26 outs.
That's gotta suck.

Lost it with 2 outs in the 9th. Ouch.

Still got the Maddux game.. 2 hit shutout anyway.

Game score of 86.

Would have liked to see him get it. Always liked him when he played for the Cards...especially in '13 when Matheny forgot about him during the playoffs.

Miller had thrown first pitch strikes to 22 of 26(?) batters when PH Justin Bour came to the plate with 2 outs in the 9th...wondered if AJ had called that pitch--1st pitch strike again to a guy who has been watching the entire game? Nope. AJ called for Miller to bury one inside on lefty Bour. Miller left it over the plate, right down the middle. Bour, no doubt swinging away at the first pitch all the way, got the hit to break up Miller's no-hitter:

AJ will have probably pissed off 40% of the fanbases in the game by the time he hangs it up.
