Lemme tell you somethin' about Ray Fosse, Stoney, one of the best, no- maybe the best- at blocking the plate that I've ever seen in my six decades in this game. The game has changed though, you can't even block the plate anymore. And that All-Star game, Pete took a lot of heat for that. But Pete, he was just playing the game the only way he knew how and that was the right way.

Yeah, after reading the article about how Pete Rose would clean up on all new signings and being a crappy pitchman + the stuff JORR posted previously about Pete Rose being a shit-heel as a person, i'm not that interested in hearing his HOF speech. And he'll probably go on some interview show and spout crazy talk/lies if/when the current commish declares "no Pete Rose in the MLB HOF on my watch".

I don't get this...there's no way someone could influence the result of 64 out of 69 baseball games. Or be that bad of a prognosticator (don't fade me.com).
