Met him in a Philadelphia hotel elevator back in 2009. We were there for Pearl Jam. The World Series was going on at the same time. He was surprisingly cordial. But yeah, comes off like an attention whore between the lines. |

Angel Hernandez may be the first official in any sport that looked at a terrible call on replay and confirmed the terrible call. I don't think that anyone on the planet looked at that replay and said no home run other than Angel. On replay it was one of the most obvious blown calls ever. He looked at that and said yuup I'm right. Not one other human being can agree. |
