I just went back and looked at Baseball Prospectus's 2015 pre-season AL picks by their 45 staff members. Yikes! The emperor has no clothes, boys. It's funny that you can use all the latest computer models, piss on batting average and RBI, create esoteric statistics and all manner of high-minded concepts and still predict the same outcomes as Rick Telander. Bottom line: It's a funny game. |
