Piazza and Junior.

Junior doesn't get nearly as many votes as people think he will.

How is Piazza different from the PED guys? Sosa, McGwire, etc.

If Bonds gets in the blame falls squarely on you, fella.

McGwire (roids) and Sosa (cork) are both admitted cheaters

I just figure that he should be the first clear juicer in, get contrasted with Jr. and have to field all of the accusations alone.

Plus, unlike Piazza/Bagwell he was an HOFer before the cream/clear and unlike Clemens he never threw his entire team under the bus when he had a "miraculous" rebound as with the Jays.

The 42nd round draft nepotism pick just revamped his post draft body when he virtually lived on the needle community that is/was Muscle Beach.

No.

But I wouldn't have put in the 0.2 inning wonder that was Eckersley either.

Junior
Piazza (although he was a PED head).
close on Raines/Bagwell (another PED head)

I'm not even a big Hoffman guy but this Hall has always been obsessed with #s. I don't see how you can keep "the all time leader" of any traditionally revered stat out

They kept/keep Lee Arthur out (fairly imo), and I haven't really had much respect for the save statistic since they became closely tailored 0-1 inning opportunities.

Oh I knew, I just can't avoid a chance to crap on Piazza.

But he'd have beaten Clemens ass (or at least tried) with the bat incident, he'd be begrudgingly ok in my book.

Fun fact: No #1 overall draft pick has ever been elected to the MLB HoF.

Looks like Raines and Bagwell will get in next year. They jumped up in votes.

Bonds and Clemens stayed about the same as last year at like 45%. You need 75%. McGuire was like 12% and Sosa at 7%. Writers will never let those two in.

2 clowns voted for David Eckstein.

The 3 who left off Griffey should be outed and banned from future voting.
