ICYMI- The league apologized to Vegas over the major penalty called in their Game 7. The referees from that game will not be calling any 2nd round games. Guess all the people saying it was a brutal call were right.

Why is Eddie in the studio and Milbury doing color with Doc?

Seems like this season Eddie has not been on as many games on NBC. I know he was still in recovery mode in the early part of the season, but if he can travel to NY, why not Boston?

Jackets were absolutely tenacious on D (as were the Bruins), and BOB was spectacular last night. The Broon’s physical game is not having much of an effect. Jackets are not gonna be an easy out; as long as they keep up the D and filter out a dumb penalty here and there, they will be right in this series.

Nice that the Jacket will be coming home with a split, plus we don’t have to deal with the fucking Boston crowd for the next two games.

Also nice to see Dallas even it up.

Do you miss him in the booth? I don't. When he called the Carolina/Washington Game 7 it seemed that all he did was say what players should have done in the OT. I know that is a major part of his analysis but it got kinda annoying. Fatigue and nerves affected the play but it was barely mentioned.

For these telecasts, Emerson, Sharp, Boucher, Jones, and the NBC hosts (McHugh and KT) are all top notch. Milbury and McGuire are negatives and take away from the broadcast IMO. I know this is an unpopular opinion around here but Olcyhk doesn't add much for me. Roenick has gotten better.

Doc and Eddie have a really good rapport, and Milbury really adds nothing. Annoying or not, Eddie is a much better in-game analyst.

Kendall Coyne Schofield, US Women’s hockey player that did the fastest skater at all star game. She needs some work but with my hatred of McGuire I’d rather hear her. A.J. Mleczko does some games too, a little more polished.

Since they know they’re not gonna get Panarin back, the Jackets should back up the truck for BOB.

Panarin is way too one-dimensional, and his nonchalance led to the Bruins’ goal.
