Boston wins 2-1 in double overtime, great saves by both Goalies and some by Charra and Bergeron. A great game.

On to tomorrow, will we lose both Stanley Cup Teams in the same day, the Flyers are down 2 guys and the Sabres will be down 1, and I could see the FLyers starting Leighton over Boucher, after Boucher allowed 3 and Leighton didn't allow 1 until overtime.

For the Blackhawks, I think the key is to score early, don't give the Canucks time to get everthing together. If after the first period, it's a tie game or Canucks lead, I think the Canucks will close it out, I would like to see a Game 7 though.

Right now, 2 Game 7's. In Flyers-Sabres and Canucks-Hawks.

Wouldn't be surprised if Tampa drops the Caps this round, especially with Stamkos proving that he's not dead last series... Also looking for the SHARKs to give Detroit a full 7 game series, that will be a thing... alsthough the big three for the SHARKs looked transparent against the Kings <shocked>

I think the Red Wings-Sharks along with Bruins-Flyers, should be good series.

The Canucks could make short work of the Predators.

Crosscheck, if the Lightning can hold on for 6 more minutes, you are looking good on your pick, I just think the Capitals are playing well right now to win this series and move on.

For the future, The NHL has had some good Stanley Cup Finals the last couple of years and people are watching, so my guess is there hoping for a Red Wings vs Flyers, Bruins, or Capitals.

How about the Lighting, up 2-0 going home. Crosscheck you might be right.

that loss hurt worse than game 1. this was a game the flyers should have had in the bag. they are gonna run outta gas in boston, and this could be over in 4. frustrating to say the least. :x

Tonight, do the Capitals save their season or will they be down 3-0. I have already heard talk that if the Caps go down 3-0, Boudreau is out, imagine he meant after the series loss.

I expected this to be a series, I thought the capitals fixed their problems at the trading deadline last year, or so I was told by every anaylist; this is pretty bad.

Although every time I see that ovechtrick commercial, I smile...

Ovechkin is so much fun to watch. It's like the rest of the people on the ice are in slow motion when he's around

The guy doing play by play on the Canucks-Predators game sounds like the announcer from the Triple Play baseball game from the 90's.

Heard the NHL was cracking down on them after they involved a cut out of some player's hottie GF.

After a Washington loss, the team that this is opening up for is Boston, up 2-0 with 2 home games coming and with an almost certain Tampa Bay series win, could make the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1990.

That would be interesting, but I'd actually give Tampa the edge in that series, I don't trust the Bruins fire power, but Thomas is playing pretty damn well right now, that's a matchup I'd like to see play out...

Thank god the Canucks won tonight, watching the Predators play a 7 game series sucks, the sooner they get eliminated the better...

I can never cheer for a Canucks win. Maybe I'm a masochist, but I like watching Nashville play. Sum is greater than the parts type thing

Weak ass penalty on Shea Weber there deciding the game.

After the last 2 posts and I know the Predators would have to win another series, but I don't think the NHL wants a Lightning-Predators Finals, may be tough to get people to watch that.

Both teams have good players, but they would need Carrie Underwood to help sell that series.

I would need Carrie Underwood to blow me to watch one second of a Lightning-Preds SCF.

Christ... I hate it when I'm right... I'm pretty shocked by this, especially the way the Coyotes were obliterated by Detroit...

Nashville v. Tampa Bay? Not interested sign.

Ovechtrick! Ovechtrick! Oh my God the Fliers have gone through the season undefeated!

It's starting to look more and more that it will be Lightning vs Bruins, don't see the Bruins blowing it this year.

On the West, Sharks vs Canucks, I see the Canucks start to take over now.

It's looking like the Canucks will make the Finals.

On the East side, best of 3, I like the Bruins to win, but the Lightning may have the momentum after being down 3-0 in Game 4, and come back to win to tie the series.

Was hoping San Jose could beat Vancouver as I can't stand those whiny little fucks, alas it looks like a Canucks Cup this year. Don't think either team in the east can beat them.

I am still in amazement at seeing Vancouver have three 5-3 power play opportunities in a 2 minute span...and score on all 3 opportunities. This after San Jose had the first 5 power plays of the game and failing.

I expect Vancouver to win this series and then dispose of whoever comes out of the East. It appears that Vancouver getting past the Hawks was like the Bulls getting past the Pistons in the early 90's....with their biggest nemesis out of the way, the Canucks should win the Cup.
