Lots of Canadian teams in the mix this year. I'm sure the networks love that. |

If I had to rank the other 7 series in terms of which ones will be the most entertaining I'd probably do something like this... 1. Ducks vs Calgary (this is gonna be a blood bath) 2. Pittsburg vs Columbus (lost some luster with Letang out, but this still features 2 of the top 4 teams in the league record wise) 3. Washington vs Toronto (kids vs perennial chokers) 4. Minnesota vs St. Louis (someone has to win) 5. Montreal vs NY Rangers (original 6, nuff said) 6. Edmonton vs San Jose (would be MUCH higher if San Jose was healthy) 7. Ottawa vs Boston (no fux to give) |

anyone find it interesting that the NBA and NHL employ such different policies when it comes to playoff scheduling? NBA barely ever has games that conflict with each other so diehard fans can watch just about every playoff game. NHL schedules 5 games in one night. Always found that odd. |

NBA fans beat off to Greatness wherever it may be, NHL fans more or less just like their own teams and hate everyone else on a sliding scale. |

I would say, there is more marketability for sponsors in the NBA. More money to be made. |

I went to game 7 of Hawks/Blues last year, and it was fantastic. I'd love to see a rematch and maybe even head down there. The Blues fans were universally fearing the Hawks because they had gotten bounced by this Hawks crew many times before. |

Leafs just won in OT to go up 2-1 on the Craps Seriously, if the Hawk bow out and Toronto eliminates the Caps, I'll be rooting for the Leaf the rest of the way. |

Bouwmeester was set up to be the goat in that Blues game with two 3rd period penalties letting the Wild tie it. |

This has to be the worst playoff since '06, when Buffalo, Ottawa, and Detroit all had amazing teams that shit their pants and left us with Carolina, Anaheim, and Chris Pronger featuring the Edmonton Oilers. |

Oilers/Sharks has been the best series so far. I'm surprised MTL is out. I thought they had an easy way to at least the conf finals. Minn choked like the hawks. Anyone but Pitt for me, but it seems like this is setting up nicely for a Pitt repeat. |

Are the Hawks one of the few teams that still employ the puck possession philosophy? I'm seeing a lot more rushes and less passes per SOG out of these other playoff teams. |
