Makes sense, with his ties there, and with the roster that Colorado boasts. Once Sakic is back and healthy, this team could make some noise in the playoffs, but their lack of bulk along the blueline may do them in.

Speaking of which, they've been rumored to be looking to reacquire Rob Blake. The whole band's getting back together!

Can Chris Simon and Claude Lemieux be far behind?

Darryl "Don't call me Brian, Ron, Rich, Duane, or Brent" Sutter claims that he's not shopping Tanguay, but we shall see.

Blake has said previously that he will not waive his no-trade clause, as has Mats Sundin, so look for the prices of Hossa, Campbell, Boyle, and possibly Brad Richards (who I would LOVE to see end up with the Hawks) go up.

I guess the band IS getting back together - without Blake though. They just got Adam Foote from Columbus.

Those early Avalance teams were hella fun to watch.

They were fun, except when you sit through a three overtime playoff game and the Hawks end up losing. Stupid Joe Sakic. And stupid food poisoning.

Roy was something else to watch, as was Belfour. Add on the Colorado vs. Detroit matches, there was some great hockey being played.
