It's a foregone conclusion that the Lightning will take Steve Stamkos. After that, it's a complete crapshoot. That being said, look for the Hawks to package the #11 pick with either Havlat, Barker, or both, for a veteran scorer, or physical defenseman. |

Olli Jokinen is finally tiring of the situation in Florida, and may well be seeking a trade. Patrick Marleau and Jason Spezza are names that have been floated around as well. Defensemen are a scarcer commodity, but again, look for Florida to try to reload, and do so by divesting themselves of Jay Bouwmeester. |

I would take a defenseman if I were the Flyers. All of the top D-men figure to go immediately after Stamkos, however. If 6'7" Tyler Myers falls due to questions of his skill vs. his size, look for the Flyers to pounce, as their d-corps is somewhat aging, and they're always looking to take on size, particularly on the blue line. I don't see Myers falling THAT far, however. |

Did you put your name in for the draft this year? I'm still waiting for the call. |

Phoenix just made the steal of the offseason - I don't know who's in charge down there, but he must be great..... Jokinen is a beast....wish the Hawks could have been a player in that one. |

Looks like the Hawks got some nice defensive help in day 2, specifically the kid they picked up in the 3rd round that many projected to be a first round guy. |

They gave up Keith Ballard though, who is an excellent young defenseman. |
