Just some funny stuff here. Some highlights:

Toronto Maple Leafs: Hahaha

Atlanta Thrashers: So they added Byfuglien and Mason. That's something, anyway. They're certainly not as awful as they once were, for what it's worth. And what's it worth will be about 11th in the East.

Pittsburgh Penguins: In the playoffs this team couldn't beat the Canadiens, so it will be a real struggle playing against actual NHL teams.

Los Angeles Kings: The signing of Willie Mitchell will amount to nothing when he injures himself during the national anthem at the season opener and doesn't play a single game.

Getting really excited for the season already :D

Just a casual hockey fan but I would be in for this. The Jets and Whalers are still the teams to beat in the NHL right?

On the season, I know the Capitals won Saturday, but I wonder if they get off too a slow start, does Boudreau get fired early in the season. After last year's playoff loss, I heard he was on the hot seat, so the Caps may need a fast start or I think he will be fired.

I perused the NHL standings today. Toronto on top of the East. Yes, I know it is early, but I didn't think I would see that after last year. Huffy's guy Versteeg doesn't have a lot to show for himself so far.
