Post subject: | This year's season |
SInce the season starts tommorow, just wondered who people thought would win the Cup, any suprise teams this year, a big team fall off. I wonder how the Canucks will respond after losing a Game 7 at home. Is this the year the the Capitals have a deep playoff run, and if they get off too a slow start, is that the end for Budreau, when Matt Barnaby was on ESPN, he kept saying Budreau wouldn't come home after they got swept. I could see Tampa make a run for that division. When will Crosby be come back and hopefully's he's healthy when he does come back and stays that way. I will throw out the Avalanche as a suprise team this year, Vancouver for the drop off. For Stanley Cup Champion, the way the league has gone the last couple years, I could see the the Canadiens, seems like some of the older teams have won the Cup the past couple of years. |

Neal is setting the world ablaze for your penguins reents, seeing him with Crosby will be a thing... your surprise pick of the Avs looks pretty good after a week, I'm curious as to why you choose them, I was thinking that they would be a bottom feeder as I never really had faith in their offensive core pieces, nor Varlamov... |

I agree w/ the Vancouver drop off. Huge negative impacts like the loss in Game 7 tend to follow franchises. I wouldn't be shocked if they missed the playoffs completely. If the Hawks don't win it, I would love to see Montreal win the Cup this year. |

Right I just hope Crosby comes back and when he does, no more concussion problems, the Penguins are off to a good start and getting at least 1 point in each game untill the last one. Of course Malkin is hurt again and out the road trip. On the Avalanche, they always seem to have good young talent, like Duchene, and Varlamov for a run was decent with the Capitals. If you want to look at the young guys, John Tavares of the Islanders 5 goal already. |

Well Boudreau is out in Washington, and now Dale Hunter is the coach. |

And Maurice is out in Carolina - and rumors are swirling in Anaheim. Bloody Monday in the NHL....... |

Boudreau makes sense, I can understand that, but there isn't a coach in the world who can make something of that Hurricane roster... |
