At least Roger Goodell and the N.F.L. are smart enough to try and PROTECT THE PRODUCT. The National Hockey League is run by idiots. If some dumb ass goon takes a shot at another player's head.....20 game suspension. No pay. So long. Same with throwing some guy into the boards head first. |

Thug league. Serious question though, why not prosecute some of these hits? They're obviously well outside the rules, and could be deemed assault. Why not send a message? It's on video. Someone must have witnessed it happen. Then again, this is the NHL we are talking about. |
