If you had 1 game in the Patrick Roy illustrating that he's a crazy bastard, you win. |

http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=454955 Tomas Hertl had 4 goals last night and an early candidate for goal of the year. That's just stupid good. |

Lapierre's such a scumbag. Better off without him. Speaking of scumbags, Patrick Kaleta got ten games for a hit on Jack Johnson. It's long past time that guy got what was coming to him. |

Shithead...better get 10. He did a nice job of hiding behind 2 officials afterwards as well. |

Just saw the Lapierre hit. Truly a piece of shit. The league needs to do everything they can to get rid of guys like him from the league. Do nothing but hinder the growth of the sport. |

So, Crosby is having a decent year. His points per 60 minutes, 5 on 5, is 3.68. His Corsi% is 61. So yeah, barring brain injury, there's your Hart. |

He's already out on bail and free to travel. Unreal. I figured Roy was coaching up the Avs goalies; I didn't think that would extend to beating women. |

Quote: The Avalanche are off to a torrid 10-1 start and have become the talk of hockey under first-year coach Patrick Roy. Duchene doesn't think this will derail the Avalanche. "You just don't think about it," Duchene said. "It's tough. You're concerned about your teammate. We all love Varly in here. I can't say enough great things about him. I think we're all pretty confident this is going to get resolved pretty quickly." At first I found the way he treats every goal like Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final merely irritating, but this confirms my suspicions that Matt Duchene is a fucking genius. |

Bolland has to have surgery now for the leg laceration he got in tonights game. That sucks. He was having himself a nice little start to the season. I wonder what the hell he cut through to require surgery as opposed to just getting stitched up. |

Steven Stamkos broke his leg. He had 14 goals and 23 points in 17 games. Sucks a lot for the sport. |

The half-assed Sabres reload/rebuild is over. Ron Rolston and Darcy Regier fired. Terry Pegula is just as guilty as Regier for that shit show team. Also, never would have thought Tyler Myers' career would go the way of Barret Jackman. Hawks fans were cursing Tallon for taking Beach over him. Doesn't look as terrible in hindsight as it initially did. Looking at the other picks the only pro the Hawks developed was Ben Smith. Whatever. |

So Tom Wilson started in New York or so to gain speed on this hit to the surprise of no one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KKGq8Zo-TE He should get 10-20 games, he'll get 1-2. |

Kings have won eight straight, and here they were talking about firing Sutter. Kinda hate the way this team sandbags it until the end of the year; makes you question the legitimacy of the Hawks' sweep. Dustin Brown with six points in those eight games, that brings Captain Potato all the way up to 22 in 65. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kquijCu1HY0 Here's the video of the end of game "brawl" between Jets and Blues. For fuck's sake the Blues can't win the Stanley Cup. Piece of shit weasel behavior like this can't be rewarded in this era of the NHL. What Jackman pulled there was absolute horseshit. Picking of Blake Wheeler really shows his tough guy cred there. The NHL can't have the Blues win and spawn copycats thinking acting like penises is a successful strategy. |

I thought Big Buff started that mess?? Sort of. His check was clean. Polak and Jackman God's Gift to Douchebags got pissed someone dared hit them and decided to go bash brothers. They were also likely pissed previoulsy about Buff headlocking Sobotka earlier in the game for charging and headhunting Wheeler along the boards. They truly are a team of weasels and slime. |

Should not be surprising the Blues will be amping up the goon attitude without Tarasenko. That loss hurts a lot. Other than Schwartz, Steen, Berglund and maybe dickhead Oshie they're an interchangeable collection of assholes. |

Some highlight goals being scored in the NBCSN game tonight, Bruins-Red Wings. Kick assist by Tatar to Jurco of the Red Wings for a wide open goal. And then Gustav Nyquist looked like Pavel Datsyuk, picking the Bruins pocket and then speeding passed a couple defenders before notching his 23rd goal in 28 games. Not much puck control or defense for the Red Wings young guys, shots on goal are ~35-15 for Boston, 3-2 score in favor of Detroit. |
