If Dustin Brown and/or Ryan Callahan make the team and Saad doesn't this team deserves the 6th place finish it will receive. Picking guys cause of what they did 4 years ago on a smaller ice surface has EPIC FAIL written all over it. But shouldn't be a surprise, the USA always does horrible when they are coming off a successful previous Olympics. 60- Gold, 64 - 5th 72-Silver, 76- 5th 80-Gold, 84- 7th (good job Edzo!) 2002-Silver, 2006- 8th 2010- Sliver, 2014 - ? |

Psst! Kyle Okposo is American! So is Brandon Saad! I know they have scary ethnic names, but they are! You still could have put them on the team! |

You still could have put them on the team! s.Evidently it came down to Saad vs Oshie for the last forward spot and they took Oshie cause he's good in shootouts. Ridiculous. Don't have a problem with Okposo not making it, he's put up points this year playing with Tavares, but overall his career has been less than spectacular. The big snub is Bobby Ryan, but I don't have a big problem with that either. Doesn't bring the fire and the passion nearly enough. Not picking Saad was a HUGE mistake, he would've been a huge boost to the team on the big ice. |

Sounds like Ryan was left off because he wasn't intense enough? Wtf is that? Who cares how intense he is if the man can score and clearly he can. |
