Evander Kane, that is. The Buffalo Sabres have agreed in principle to acquire Evander Kane as part of a blockbuster trade with the Winnipeg Jets, a source told ESPN. The deal is still pending the official approval from the NHL, according to the source. The Jets have agreed to deal Kane, defenseman Zach Bogosian and an unsigned prospect to the Sabres for defenseman Tyler Myers, winger Drew Stafford, a first-round draft pick and prospects Joel Armia and Brendan Lemieux. |

Holy crap. What a blockbuster. I'm assuming the 1st is the Islander's. The pairing would be too plodding but I'd like to see Big Buff and Myers together. That's a lot of beef.
