Why are they skipping the 5 minute 4 on 4? Kind of crazy to just go to 3 on 3 right out of the gate. |

Why not 2 on 2 where they line up on one goal line and have to try to get the puck to stop on the far blue line. |

Hows about an overtime faceoff where the puck is laid at the red line on the Road defensive zone and one player from each team races down ice at it allowing full contact. |

Need to find my source but the league wanted to do the AHL procedure from this year, 4 minutes of 4-4 then 3 of 3-3 and the NHLPA wouldn't bite. |
